OFFLINE FIRST
The workflow is built for local evidence files: exported `_chat.txt`, copied media folders, and inventory reports generated on your machine.
HASH CENTERED
Media and evidence files are indexed with SHA-256 hashes so attachments can be verified during review and reporting.
NO BYPASS
The tool does not bypass device security, decrypt protected WhatsApp backups, or access accounts without authorization.
SYSTEM_LIMITS
CLEAR BOUNDARIES
Use this project for exported chat files and copied folders that you are authorized to examine. Encrypted database backups such as `msgstore.db.crypt14` can be inventoried and hashed, but not decrypted by this interface.
For legal matters, maintain chain of custody, record who copied the evidence, preserve the original files, and work from a duplicate.
